Mike has been listening to Bluegrass music since he was 18 years old. A friend came over one day and said listen to this record. The name of the group was " New Grass Revival ". It all started from there and a Love for this GREAT music has continued to this day. Oh Yeah! He just turned 50 years old.

He took up playing learning the mandolin 2 years ago and is still trying to learn how  to play and has no intention on giving it up this time. He did play the banjo for a few years in his early 20's. But family and several other commitments caused him to let this go for a while and he started driving a truck over the road. Taking Bluegrass music with him. He managed to acquire a large collection of cassette tapes and then cd's of this music. So much so that he wanted to share his collection with others here on the net. He has been a DJ for only a few months and has enjoyed every minute of it.

On his show you will hear Antique Grass, as he calls it, Bluegrass from the beginning to the modern Artist and everything in between. The main musical focus of his shows are instrumentals. Instrumentals being a big part of this music, he likes to let them be heard. Another big part of his show is requests. He likes to play the songs that others like to hear too. You can request a song for him to play either by his email address or enter our chat room and ask him in person. Either way he will do his best to get your request played for you.

So come on by Monday and Wednesday evenings from 8 PM to 10 PM EST and give him a listen. You might get to hear one of your favorite songs. If not just ask him to play it.
